Amate House seeks to support the leadership and faith development of young adults while providing valuable services to underserved schools, parishes, and social service agencies in the Archdiocese and City of Chicago.  Young adult participants (ages 21-29) live together in an intentional community, receive ongoing support, educational opportunities, participate in faith formation activities, and perform full-time volunteer services in inner-city areas throughout Chicago.  Since 1984, it is estimated that our Volunteers have completed over one million hours of service work and touched over 250,000 lives!
